Step 1. |
Get your hands on a good long tape measure and ask a friend to help you. |

Draw a rough layout of your room. |

| Step 3. |
Fill the length and width of the room in on your layout. |

| Step 4. |
Measure the height of the ceiling and note it down on the layout. |

Start from the corner of the wall and measure the space from the corner to the window/door. Note it down on the layout. |

Now measure the width of the window/door and note it down on the layout. |
| C. |
If there is more than one window/door along a wall, measure the distance between them and note it down on the layout. |

Measure the height of the window sill and the height of the top of the window/door. Note these down on the layout. |

| Step 7. |
If you have any central light fittings or wall lights, please show where these are - you don't need to be exact. |

| Step 8. |
Indicate the approximate position of power points on the walls. |
|
| Step 9. |
Indicate the position of any fittings that can't be moved (e.g. heaters, air conditioners, fireplaces etc). Include the height and width measurements of these fittings. |
